Judgement of Membrane Fouling
How to judge membrane fouling, here are several key parameters:
(1) The most critical indicator is the difference in membrane flux (units such as LMH or LPM) under identical operating conditions (same pressure, temperature and recirculation flow rate). Generally, the membrane is considered fouled once the flux of the used membrane drops below 85% of that of the new membrane.
(2) Membrane fouling usually causes changes in membrane rejection performance, and such changes can be either increased or decreased.
(3) Under identical operating conditions, the pressure difference across the membrane module will rise after fouling, which means the transmembrane resistance increases.
Warranty Period
The company warrants the performance of membrane elements for three 3 years. The three-year warranty period shall commence on the earliest of the following dates:
- The date when the reverse osmosis system is put into operation;
- Six 6 months from the date the membrane elements are shipped from the manufacturing site;
- Three 3 months after the membrane elements are shipped from Guangzhou / Shanghai, China to Taiwan of China, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, India, Malaysia, the United States and other designated locations in China.
