Membrane Module Storage
System storage instructions:
- Uninstalled membrane modules must be stored at 5~40°C. Do not remove the outer packaging. Maximum storage period is 6 months, counted from the date of manufacture.
- Once the membrane is wetted, it shall remain wet at all times. Do not allow the membrane to dry out after commissioning.
- If the system shuts down for 24 hours, the liquid inside the membrane modules must be thoroughly flushed out.
- If the system remains out of service for 5 days, perform low-pressure flushing with clean water once per day.
- If the system shutdown exceeds 5 days, complete a cleaning procedure to drain the liquid from the modules. Then fill the modules with preservative solution containing 1% sodium bisulfite. (Prepare the preservative solution in the cleaning tank and circulate it through the modules by pump.) Check the pH value of the preservative solution weekly. Replace the solution when pH drops below 3. The preservative solution shall be renewed every month.
Warranty Period
The company warrants the performance of membrane elements for three 3 years. The three-year warranty period shall commence on the earliest of the following dates:
- The date when the reverse osmosis system is put into operation;
- Six 6 months from the date the membrane elements are shipped from the manufacturing site;
- Three 3 months after the membrane elements are shipped from Guangzhou / Shanghai, China to Taiwan of China, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, India, Malaysia, the United States and other designated locations in China.
