Judgment of Membrane Fouling
How to identify membrane fouling. Key parameters are listed below:
(1) The most critical indicator is the difference in membrane flux (units such as LMH or LPM) under identical operating conditions (same pressure, temperature and recirculation flow rate). Generally, membrane fouling is confirmed when the flux of used membranes drops below 85% of that of new membranes.
(2) Membrane fouling usually leads to changes in membrane rejection performance, which may either increase or decrease.
(3) Under identical operating conditions, the pressure difference across the membrane module rises after fouling, which means the transmembrane resistance increases.
Warranty Period
The company warrants the performance of membrane elements for three 3 years. The three-year warranty period shall commence on the earliest of the following dates:
- The date when the reverse osmosis system is put into operation;
- Six 6 months from the date the membrane elements are shipped from the manufacturing site;
- Three 3 months after the membrane elements are shipped from Guangzhou / Shanghai, China to Taiwan of China, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, India, Malaysia, the United States and other designated locations in China.
